Marilyn’s Haystack Cookies

3 cups rolled oats

1 cup rice krispies or coconut

6 tbsp cocoa

1/2 cup milk (non-dairy will work)

1/2 cup margarine

2 cup white sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla

Mix oats, krispies/coconut and cocoa in a medium/large bowl. Heat butter, milk and sugar to a boil, remove from heat. Pour over dry ingredients and mix completely. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto parchment paper lined trays. Chill until firm. Makes approximately 3 dozen cookies.
